Staking rewards calculator

A staking rate is quoted before fees and before inflation. Enter the rate you are offered to see what you would receive, and how much of it only keeps your share of the network level.

Your stake

The example is 32 ETH at 2.5% a year, the network rate in October 2026, with a provider that keeps 10% of rewards. Lesson 50 explains each number.

How to read the result

The rate after the fee is what reaches you. A provider that keeps 10% of rewards turns a 5% rate into 4.5%. The fee comes out of the rewards, not out of your stake.

The change in your share of the supply matters on networks that pay stakers by creating new coins. If the supply grows 7% a year and you earn 7%, you hold more coins and the same slice of the network. The reward kept you level, and holders who did not stake were diluted.

What this calculator does not do

  • It does not predict the rate. Network rewards change with how much is staked.
  • It does not predict the price. Rewards are paid in the coin, so their value in dollars moves with it.
  • It leaves out penalties and slashing, which reduce a stake. Lesson 46 covers them.
  • It leaves out tax. In the United States a reward is income when you gain control of it. See Lesson 58.

This page does not look up live prices and does not save or send what you type. It is arithmetic, not advice: prices can fall, and you can lose everything you put in.
