Arbitrage

Buying something where it is cheap and selling it where it is dear. It is what keeps a pool's price in line with the wider market.

Arbitrage in more detail

After a big swap the pool's price differs from the price elsewhere. Traders buy the cheaper side until the prices match again. That arbitrage is what keeps a pool in line with the wider market.
