CRYPTO GLOSSARY

2FA

Also called: two-factor authentication

A login step that asks for something you have as well as your password, such as a security key or a code from an authenticator app.

2FA in more detail

Two-factor authentication, or 2FA, asks for something you have as well as your password. The methods are not equal.

Use the strongest method each service offers. Any 2FA is better than none.

Do not use text messages for 2FA on accounts that matter.
